Metal AFO​

This was my first time bending metal for an AFO by myself. For this project we traced one of our classmates legs to create a schema. We then fabricated our AFOs by bending, deflecting and contouring our bars and stirrups to our schemas. We then squared our joints and assembled our braces according to the pathology we were given. I was give cauda equina. I gave my patient a DF assist, DF stop at 5 degrees and PF stop at 5 degrees.
